The battle and scrabble for the 687,565 registered voters in Machakos County, as per the 2022 IEBC register, has seen the Linda Mwananchi battalion tour several parts of Machakos County on the 1st day of the Ukambani region tour.

Speaking during the charged rally and in a message that has left political analysts scratching their heads, trying to understand it, and others speculating about a possible political alliance in the offing, Suba South MP Caroli Omondi has finally said that the group had the blessings of former and retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
