Worries As Searching Of Missing 4-Year-Old Boy Who Drowned In A River Enters Day 4 In Olenguruone

Four-year-old Bethwel Kipngeno remains missing as the search for the young boy enters its fourth day, leaving his family and residents of Kipkolos Village in deep distress.

The child, who is the son of Illis Langat, is believed to have been swept away by strong water currents in a river at Olenguruone earlier this week.

According to reports from residents and family members, the tragic incident occurred when the child accidentally slipped near the river and was carried away by the flowing water.

Since then, a large group of local residents, volunteers, and community leaders have been conducting an intensive search operation along the river and nearby areas.

Despite the ongoing efforts, the young boy has not yet been found.

The search has now entered Day Four, with community members continuing to comb the riverbanks and surrounding areas in hopes of locating the child.

Residents have been working tirelessly from morning to evening, with many using basic tools to search through bushes, river edges, and deeper sections of the water.

However, the challenging terrain and strong currents have made the search difficult and slow.

Family members have described the situation as heartbreaking, saying the prolonged search has left them emotionally drained.

They said they are still hopeful that their child will be found, even as time continues to pass.

The family has also thanked members of the community who have shown support during the difficult period.
