Members of the public have taken to social media to express mixed reactions following a fuel price increase announced by Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
According to EPRA, the new prices, effective from April 15 to May 14, 2026, were set in line with the Petroleum Act, 2019.
In the latest review, the maximum retail price of Super Petrol rose by KSh 28.69 per litre, while Diesel increased by KSh 40.30 per litre. The price of Kerosene remained unchanged.
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will now retail at KSh 206.97, KSh 206.84, and KSh 152.78 per litre respectively.READ MORE...............
