“Hawakujua Wanaingia Kwa Nani” South C Shock as Armed Thugs Are Beaten Back During Raid Attempt

A dramatic attempted robbery in South C, Nairobi, has gone viral after CCTV footage captured a failed raid in which armed suspects were overpowered and forced to flee in panic.

According to the footage reviewed, two young men dressed in dark clothing, including caps and face coverings, entered a small shop and immediately approached the counter where a man was seated.

What initially appeared to be a routine interaction quickly escalated into a violent confrontation.

One of the suspects is seen attempting to intimidate the shop attendant while the other moves around the counter area. Moments later, what appears to be a weapon is drawn as the situation turns tense. However, the shop attendant reacts swiftly, engaging the attackers and refusing to back down.

A struggle breaks out inside the shop as the man grabs at the weapon and fights to block access to the counter. In a surprising turn of events, the shopkeeper gains control of the situation, forcing the suspects into retreat.

The CCTV footage then shows the attackers fleeing the shop, with the man chasing after them towards a muddy road outside before the clip ends.

The incident has sparked widespread reactions online, with many Kenyans praising the shop attendant for his bravery while others expressed concern over rising insecurity incidents in Nairobi.

Some social media users called for stronger action from authorities, urging the Kenya Police Service and security agencies to intensify patrols and respond faster to such crimes.

The incident comes at a time when several robbery cases have been reported in different parts of the city, raising public anxiety over safety in commercial areas.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the South C incident, and it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made.

Investigations are expected to continue as police review the CCTV footage for leads on the suspects approaching.
