Shock and grief have gripped residents of Lepiroi Village in Samburu County following the brutal killing of a retired school principal in an incident that has left the local community deeply disturbed.

The victim, identified as Jennifer Letoole, was a respected retired principal who had been living in the village after leaving the education profession. Police confirmed that the fatal incident occurred on March 11, 2026, at around 2.30 p.m.
