A boda boda rider has sparked conversations online after revealing how he manages a large polygamous family living under one roof.
The man, identified as Musa Mbiha, lives with his three wives and their 11 children, a setup he says works well because of mutual understanding and respect within the household.
Mbiha shared that despite the challenges of raising a big family, he remains committed to providing for them through his boda boda business.
According to him, the job has been the backbone of his household, enabling him to pay school fees and meet daily needs for his wives and children.
The father of 11 explained that life was not always easy. Before settling down, he struggled to find stability and tried different businesses in various towns, but many of them failed.
Eventually, he returned home and ventured into the boda boda business, which gave him a more reliable source of income and allowed him to start building his family.
With time, he married his first wife and later expanded the family by marrying two more women. Today, all three wives live together with their children in the same home. Despite the unusual arrangement, he says they have learned how to coexist peacefully.
Mbiha attributes the harmony in his household to fairness and open communication. He said he avoids showing favouritism among his wives and always listens to each side whenever disagreements arise before making a balanced decision.
The boda boda rider also encouraged young men not to fear marriage and commitment. In his view, responsibility motivates a man to work harder and build a stable future for his family.
While he cherishes his large household, he said he currently has no plans to add another wife, insisting that three are enough for him.
