James Orengo has escalated his criticism of sections of the Orange Democratic Movement party, accusing unnamed individuals he described as “auctioneers” of benefiting from political dealings linked to President William Ruto.
In a strongly worded statement shared on X on Saturday, May 9, 2026, shortly after attending a burial ceremony in Gem, the Siaya Governor said ODM must protect its founding principles and maintain political discipline as the country heads towards the next General Election.
