In a video shared by Marion Mara, the deceased was laid to rest in a cream-coloured coffin with an uncommon design that immediately drew attention.
Unlike conventional coffins, which are fully enclosed and designed for a horizontal burial, this one featured a foldable structure resembling a hinged design, allowing part of it to open at the centre.
What further surprised many was the position of the body. Instead of being laid flat as is customary, the man was buried in a seated position, making the ceremony stand out as highly unusual within the region.
Despite the unconventional arrangement, mourners and religious leaders at the graveside appeared calm throughout the ceremony, with many paying their final respects without visible opposition. The service proceeded in an orderly and respectful manner.
However, the design of the coffin presented practical challenges. Pallbearers were seen handling it carefully as they lowered it into the grave, seemingly cautious to avoid damaging its delicate foldable structure.
