President William Ruto has read malice, during his day 2 of the Kisii County development tour, after a number of Kisii MPs, including the host Borabu MP, were absent.
Speaking in Nyamache, where he launched the construction of students' hostels, the Head of State, in the video seen and verified by this writer, can be heard complaining about the kind of MPs Kisii County elected.

For instance, Ruto complained that he was not aware of the sorry state of roads in the County until Governor Simba Arati approached him at State House, Nairobi.
"Mimi Nashangaa, nakuja kuanza barabara karibu nane Kisii, na hapa Borabu hakuna ata moja. Kwani mjumbe wenu alienda wapi? Anapiga makelele? Mwambieni awache makelele. Yamuhimu ni ile kazi inafanyika," President William Ruto.
That aside, it remains to be seen if President William Ruto will manage to snatch away the 2.5 million votes from the Gusii region, which appears to be leaning towards the opposition camp ahead of the 2027 poll.
