He is married to the love of his life by the name of Shaila Koinange . The couple has been married since 1998 . They have one child together a son by the name of Jamal Mbiyu Koinange.
Frederick Mbiyu Koinange was the father of Kenyan Journalist by the name of Jeff Koinange.
He was a trailblazing businessman , recognized as the first African / Kenyan to own a petrol station and a car dealership in Kenya . He passed away in the year 1966 when Jeff was only two months old.
