Angry Parents Storm Nakuru School With Pupil’s Body, Demand Answers Over Mysterious Death

Tension gripped Nakuru City after angry parents stormed Moi Primary and Junior School carrying the body of a Grade Eight pupil as they demanded answers over his sudden death.

The pupil, identified as Moses Nyang’au, had reportedly been taken to Nakuru Level Five Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

However, questions surrounding the circumstances of his death sparked outrage among parents and members of the community.

In an emotional and dramatic scene, parents wheeled the boy’s body from Nakuru Level Five Hospital back to the school compound.

Chanting and demanding accountability, they called on the school administration to clearly explain what had happened and why they were not informed in good time.

Witnesses described the atmosphere as highly charged, with parents expressing deep frustration and grief. Many said they felt left in the dark about the events leading to Moses’ death.

They questioned whether the school had acted quickly enough and whether proper procedures were followed when the pupil’s condition worsened.

Police officers were deployed to the school to control the growing crowd. At one point, tensions ran so high that officers struggled to calm the situation.

The grieving parents insisted they would not leave until they received satisfactory answers from the school management.

As emotions flared, learning activities at the school were disrupted. Some parents kept their children away from classes, fearing for their safety amid the protests.

Others gathered in small groups within the compound, discussing what they believed could have gone wrong.
Authorities eventually intervened and persuaded the parents to allow the body to be taken back to the hospital mortuary.

Police escorted the remains from the school as investigations into the incident were expected to begin.

By late afternoon, calm had slowly returned to the school, though the pain and questions remained. Parents maintained that they would continue pushing for transparency and accountability.

They said no family should have to struggle for answers after losing a child.

The tragic incident has left the school community shaken. As investigations unfold, many hope that the truth will come out and that clear communication between schools and parents will be strengthened to prevent such distressing scenes in the future.
