EXPOSED: DCI Finally Reveal The Senior Gov't Officer Whose Car Was Secretly Used in MP Were’s Murder

Investigations by the police have revealed that a vehicle belonging to a senior government officer was secretly used in the killing of the Kasipul Member of Parliament.

The report centres on a Toyota Mark 2 with registration number KAZ 645 Z, which detectives say was used to trail the legislator across Nairobi before he was shot dead on April 30, 2025.

According to investigators, they unveiled the owner of the Toyota Mark 2 registration number KAZ 645 Z, explaining that the vehicle had trailed and hunted down Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo across Nairobi.

They added that the car, owned by an assistant commissioner of police, was captured on CCTV shadowing the legislator’s official car while working together with a motorcycle until the MP was gunned down in cold blood.

The car belongs to Assistant Commissioner of Police Juma Ali Hikal.

However, the officer told the court that he was in Nanyuki on the day of the killing and had lent the vehicle to murder suspect William Emolish Gali.

Court documents show that the officer had earlier bought the same car from the suspect in March 2024 for three hundred thousand shillings.

On the morning of the murder, the suspect reportedly asked to borrow the vehicle, claiming he needed to transport spare parts.

CCTV footage later captured the Toyota following the MP’s official vehicle from the Parliament area through Kenyatta Avenue and Valley Road before the lawmaker was shot near the junction close to Ngong Road.

Prosecutors say the killing was carefully planned and involved several suspects, including the MP’s own bodyguard.

The vehicle was later returned after the incident, raising more questions about how it was used during the deadly mission.

Investigators are now working to determine whether the assassination was politically motivated or part of a wider conspiracy
