Concern As Goons Storm Westland MP Tim Wanyonyi's Business, Security Guard Injured

Police in Nairobi are investigating an incident where suspected goons stormed the Eninga Command Center owned by Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi.

According to reports, the suspects, who were armed with crude weapons, attacked and injured a security guard.

Property of unknown value was damaged in the process. Police, who managed to take over the premises, said that an investigation is ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, has said that the government is not going to allow the use of goons in the country.

The IG, who was speaking about goons who stormed the hotel of former PS Irungu Nyakera in Kisumu, said that some of the suspects had been arrested.

He revealed that the police are searching for their accomplices, adding that the government is planning to deploy more police across the country after the passout of the police who are undergoing training.

He was backed by DCI Boss Amin, who said that the government is going to take action against goons and their financiers.

Mr. Amin said that the use of goons will not be tolerated, adding that the country is heading to elections.
